Understanding Current Maths Terminology

Many parents are finding that they do not understand some of the words used in the Maths work that is sent home. The names of many elements have changed - a lot of the time parents do know what these are, but they were called something different when they were at school themselves. In addition to this, lots of things seem to have names that never used to. No wonder many parents are confused, despite their best efforts!

As a result, I’ve added a Glossary onto this site to help parents get to grips with some of the terminology that is currently used.
